From a university project to collaborations with the Danish Superliga – meet Mikkel Jungersen!

Mikkel is the co-founder of Alai, a groundbreaking startup that is revolutionizing the football world with real-time data and AI. In record time, Alai has partnered with clubs such as Brøndby IF, Randers FC, SL Benfica as well as the Belgian national team. 

It all started as a project at Aalborg University – now, Mikkel and his team are recipients of the NOVI grant 2025 and have received support from the Innovation Fund to scale their solution internationally. With Alai, coaches and analysts gain access to precise insights during matches – and Mikkel shares his journey from idea to impact!
